Presentations and Speakers

The GBG can provide speakers for club meetings, technical lectures and after dinner speeches. General presentations are entertaining with a high photographic content which typically last about one hour plus a questions and answers session at the end.

Subjects covered include the basic biology and ecology of Great Bustards, their conservation internationally and the GBG’s reintroduction and conservation work.

Within Salisbury, Devizes and Andover area we ask a minimum donation of £50 to the GBG, plus expenses (40p per mile) payable to speaker. Outside Salisbury, Devizes and Andover area we ask a minimum donation of £75 to the GBG, plus expenses (40p per mile) payable to speaker.

The GBG regrets that the name of the speaker can normally only be confirmed one month in advance. GBG can provide all equipment but where possible prefer not to transport a screen and projector stand.
