Great Bustard Group receives telescopes, tripods and binoculars from BBC Wildlife Fund

THE GBG HAS RECEIVED essential new funding from the BBC Wildlife Fund, more about allowing for the purchase of new equipment which is already being used on visits to the Project Site.

The Great Bustard Group has been able to buy four telescopes and window mounts, there two tripods, and six pairs of binoculars, all essential equipment for making trips to the site as fulfilling as possible for visitors.

This is not the first time the organisation has been able to help the GBG, the BBC wildlife fund, has previously donated funds for our new hide, pictured below:

The new binoculars and telescopes were a hit with the first group of visitors to be able to take advantage of them. One visitor said, “It’s really great to have this fantastic equipment for the visitors to use, being able to see the birds as if up close is wonderful.

The BBC Wildlife Fund aims to raise awareness and funds to save threatened wildlife and places and was founded in 2007. The Great Bustard Group would like to thank the fund for their generous assistance.
