GBG’s cutting-edge…

Posted on Wednesday, September 16th, 2009

News from GBG Director David Waters:

“We now have the use of a tractor and have bought our own topper or mower and a rotovator.

The farmer has always been great in doing whatever we wanted, but it had to fit in with his other work, and tended to be done by huge machines at high speed. We can now look out of the window, say, “No Bustards on this or that patch just now” and within 10 minutes be mowing or rotovating.

It is great to have total control over how and when any cultivation is done, and the small kit is super for using small patches of land to the best advantage.

The dog is my Springer called Roan – just for the record!”
