GBG Director David Waters reports:
On Wednesday 3rd Feb the Great Bustard Consortium (GBC) met at our new portable cabin on Salisbury Plain. The main topic of discussion was the ways to improve the monitoring of the UK Great Bustard population.
The GBC comprises of the Great Bustard Group, the RSPB, and the University of Bath.
During a short lunch break those present were able to look out of the window and see a flock of Great Bustards with representatives from 5 years of releases in it. How many meeting venues can offer that?
