We would like to thank everyone who visited us at the Great Bustard Group bothy at the Hawk Conservancy Trust on Easter Sunday. Plenty of ‘young farmers’ came forward to offer their services in finding the Great Bustard nests and rescuing the eggs, in exchange for a lucky dip or two of course!
Al Dawes, Hannah Rose and Suzy Elkins were on hand to answer questions and provide more chocolate treats when supplies ran low and visitors to the bothy were delighted to see Fergus and Jean-Claude displaying throughout the day. Huge thanks go to all our farmers for their enthusiasm and support and we’re pleased to announce that the hunt will be repeated again tomorrow within the park.
