Wildlife artist Romaine Denistoun visits GBG

Posted on Thursday, July 1st, 2010

Wildlife artist and conservationist Romaine Denistoun visited the release-site yesterday as part of a project she’s working on – and to chat with Suzy Elkins, GBG’s Marketing Manager, about donating one of her wonderful artworks to be auctioned at this year’s Royal Geographic Society’s GBG Auction.

Romaine spent time in the hide admiring our rapidly-growing bustard chick with our volunteers – and ended up spending a few hours in uproarious conversation with Suzy! Some extremely good ideas emerged (as well as some very enjoyable stories) and we’d like to both thank Romaine for driving down from London and for being so thoroughly entertaining…
