Children’s Organisation of International Relations

Posted on Tuesday, June 1st, 2010

The GBG is reaching out to interested conservationists of all ages – and one very interesting recent connection was made when GBG Director David Waters was in Russia this May. Our good friend Natalya Lazareva initiated a new group, the Children’s Organisation of International Relations, at her local school. David attended its launch, handing out distinctive green neckerchiefs to the new members and signing the founding document.

We are now looking at ways to involve local schools here in the UK with this and other schools in Russia, with bustard conservation being at the centre of the relationships.
