Great Bustards at the Great Amesbury Duck Race

The Great Amesbury Duck Race takes place at 30m on Monday 29th August at Lords Walk, buy more about Amesbury.

The first Great GBG duck across the line will win a great supply of wild venison – which can be delivered to you anywhere in mainland UK.

The winning duck will bring the winner a winters supply of venison consisting of 8-10kg’s of ethically sourced venison to include the following:

  • 5 x packs loin fillet
  • 1 x pack of tenderloin fillet
  • 2/3 x packs of haunch steaks
  • 2 x boned and rolled haunches
  • 2 x packs of diced
  • 2 x shanks
  • 2 x packs of mince 
  • 2 x packs of sausages

The prize is worth over £100 and can delivered to any UK mainland address. The GBG is grateful to Andy Derry for organising the Duck Race and to South Downs Venison and Game who are supplying the prize. The venison comes from a professional game dealer and is part of a sustainable and ethical deer management plan. Tickets are £2 each and may be purchased on line, by post or from the GBG in person.
